Baked Kale Chips

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Roasted Garlic Olive Oil from Olive Oil Etcetera 

Kale leaves (3 large leaves)

Salt

Directions:

Position oven rack in the center of oven and preheat oven to 350F.

Remove thick stems of kale and discard. Kale should be completely dry prior to baking; moisture will effect the process of drying out the kale in the oven.

Cut the leaves into 2- 3 inch pieces. Put the kale into a bowl and massage with olive oil and salt. Lay the kale in a single layer on a baking sheet (with or without parchment paper). Cook for about 10 minutes or until the edges start to brown. DO NOT OVERCOOK LEAVES. This process is time sensitive.

Enjoy right away or the following day. We let them sit out overnight if we don't eat them all when they are cooked. It is best not to store them in a storage container because moisture will cause them to soften.
