The consistency is thick and the taste is reminiscent of a blueberry pie. The balsamic is sweet and the blueberry is tart and together they create a warm mouth feel that is balanced.
Serving suggestions: Make a vinaigrette for salad greens or roasted asparagus. Compliments goat cheese and feta cheese. Makes a great glaze for meats. Combine with olive oil to dip crusty Italian bread and serve with a crisp wine.
