Burger Seasoning Mix Spicy Harissa
This seasoning mix can easily be adapted to a portobello mushroom burger or your favorite meat choice.
4 portobello caps - cleaned
1 red bell pepper
6 Tbsp olive oil (we recommend our Organic Koroneiki or Citrus Habanero olive oils)
Remove mushroom stems and clean the caps. Cut bell pepper into large, flat cheek pieces. Mix seasoning and oil and rub all over mushrooms and peppers. Be sure to season both sides. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Place the mushrooms and peppers onto the grill pan. Cook 5-7min per side or until both are tender.
Top portobellos with slices peppers and serve on toasted buns. We suggest garnishing with hummus, cabbage, and avocado.
