Baked Garlic

Sweet and spreadable like butter. Spread on chicken, lamb or bread or serve with grilled vegetables or as a dip for cheese (stilton or brie). Add to hummus for texture and extra flavor.

Ingredients:
1 head of garlic
Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Olive Oil Etcetera
Thyme, fresh or dried (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Slice the top of the garlic head off exposing the cluster of cloves. Brush/drizzle with Arbequina extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with thyme. Place in a shallow baking pan and bake for 45 minutes or wrap in foil and cook until tender, maybe 25 minutes.
