Crostini

A simple thing can be one of the best parts of a meal. Try making crostini to go with scrambled eggs, soup or as a side for dinner. You can use it plain or top it with bruschetta, cheese, white bean dip. 

Ingredients:

1 baguette (sliced 1/4 inch thick)

Course salt or ground pepper or Italian Dipping Spice from Olive Oil Etcetera 

3/4 cup Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Olive Oil Etcetera 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. 

Mix all of the ingredients together. 

Lay each slice on a baking sheet, making sure not to overlap the bread. Brush each slice and side with oil mixture. 

Bake until golden brown about 10 minutes (checking periodically as to not overcook). Rotate baking pans if needed and flip crostini while cooking if needed as well. 

Enjoy - alone or with toppings.
