Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts
Bacon + Maple = Maple Glazed brussels sprouts
Ingredients:
1 pound bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 pounds Brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise and if they are big go ahead and cut them again
1/4 cup Tybuk pure maple syrup
Salt & Pepper
Directions:
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium - high heat until crisp, about 10 minutes. Remove the bacon and LEAVE THE FAT in the pan.
Add the sprouts to the bacon fat & cook over medium heat, stirring, until golden brown and barely tender or just the way you like it. It only took about 15 minutes, especially if they are cut smaller.
Add the maple syrup and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring to coat and not burn anything in the pan.
Toss in the bacon and season with Salt & Pepper.
