Pumpkin Bread

1 ½ cups sugar

1 cup canned pumpkin

½ cup vegetable oil

½ cup water

2 eggs

1 2/3 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¾ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon nutmeg

¼ teaspoon cloves

½ cup raisins (optional)

Combine dry ingredients. In mixing bowl mix sugar, pumpkin, oil water and eggs; beat well.  Mix with dry ingredients.  Stir in raisins. Pour in greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.  Bake 350 degrees for 65-70 minutes or until done.  Cool 10 minutes.
