This sauce can be served over pasta, bread or used as a dip. It is a tomato sauce so you can put it over chicken too.
Chopped Fresh tomatoes - I chopped 2 large tomatoes and it made enough sauce for 2 servings of pasta
Fresh Garlic - Minced
Salt, pepper, Basil or any spice you like in your sauce...oregano
Sugar - to reduce the acidity in your tomatoes
Heat oil in a pan and add minced garlic. Make sure to not burn your oil or your garlic. Quickly add your tomatoes to reduce them. They will start to liquefy. Add your spices and sugar.
Taste, Taste and Taste to get the right flavor for you.
I like my sauce sort of chunky but if you don't you can mash the tomatoes while they cook or you can steam the skin off prior to chopping them.
